I perform regularly in Yelapa, Mexico (see map) during the
winter as Mapa Jeff, my local nickname. I also play at
parties, or pretty much anywhere, playing and singing a wide
repertoire of Brazilian jazz, among other styles.

I started playing guitar 21 years ago. For the past four years
I have studied jazz with Dave Creamer at the Jazz School in
Berkeley. More recently I've had instruction from Jason
McGuire of Caminos Flamencos.

Selene; we call ourselves La
Califusa. "Song Noir' was
released in 2005, and 'Leaving
