My earliest wave of artistic activity was a series of small, intensely detailed line drawings; and I’ve kept adding to the collection. Dense layers of random symbol and imagery yield many interpretations: I’m often surprised at what others see in these dense brambles of whimsy and satire.

These projects have been one response to the complexity and enormity of the information and images that I have taken in, willingly or not, in this age of digital communication. From cacaphony, patterns emerge: Many on top of many.
